What we collect
SurveyLab stores the account data you provide (name, email, hashed password), the surveys you create, and the responses submitted to those surveys. Survey responses are anonymous: we do not ask respondents for their identity. To prevent duplicate submissions we store a one-way hash derived from the respondent's IP address and browser — the IP itself is not stored with the response.
How data is used
Survey content and responses are only shown to the survey owner. We use aggregate, anonymous page-view counters to understand how the service is used. We do not sell or share data with third parties.
Cookies
We use a session cookie strictly required for login and security (CSRF protection), and the browser's local storage to remember your theme preference. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
Data retention and deletion
Surveys and responses are kept until the owner deletes them. Deleting a survey permanently removes all its questions and responses. To delete your account and all related data, contact us.
