      Short version: Everything happens in your browser. We don't collect, store, or transmit the content you enter to generate QR codes. No account required.
    

1. Data Processing

The QR Code Generator processes all data entirely on your device, inside your web browser. The text, URLs, WiFi credentials, contact details, and any other content you enter are never sent to our servers.

2. What We Don't Collect

QR code content (URLs, text, email, phone, WiFi, vCard data)
Logo files you upload
Generated QR code images
Personal identification information

3. Anonymous Usage Analytics

We collect anonymous usage events (page views and download actions) via a lightweight beacon to saloneylab.com/api/track. This data includes:

Event type: page_view, qr_generate
App identifier: qr
Active tab type (e.g. url, wifi, vcard) — no values

No IP addresses, user agents, or personal data are recorded in these analytics events.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We store one item locally:

Language preference (qr-theme in localStorage, lang cookie): remembers your chosen language and theme between visits. No expiry set — cleared when you clear browser data.

5. Third-Party Libraries

This app loads qrcode.js from the jsDelivr CDN (version 1.5.4). Your browser makes a direct request to jsDelivr's servers to fetch this file. jsDelivr's own privacy policy applies to that request.

6. Security

The app is served over HTTPS. Since QR content never leaves your browser, there is no server-side risk of your data being exposed.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the date at the top of this page will change. Significant changes will be noted in the app's changelog.
