VoxLab: real-time interactive presentations

What is VoxLab?

VoxLab is a tool for real-time interactive presentations, built with Flask and Socket.IO. During a presentation, the audience answers questions directly from their phones — no app, no sign-up, just a 6-character code.

How it works

The presenter creates a presentation with different slide types:

• Multiple choice — single answer with live bar charts
• Multi-select — multiple answer
• Word cloud — the audience writes words, concept clouds appear
• Open text — open answers displayed as coloured chips
• Timer quiz — timed question with final leaderboard

The audience connects by scanning a QR code or typing the code. Results update in real time on the presenter's screen.
